All matters affecting the community as a whole are shared and often decided on by all members of the community in our weekly Gannicox meeting; be this social or cultural events, our financial situation, issues of commissioning, changes in welfare standards and inspection, joining applications of new supported individuals, recruitment of co-workers and staff, building projects and other developments.
We run regular adult education, current affairs and citizenship sessions for and with members of the community; our supported residents often contribute to these through their active interest.

Most members of our community - supported residents, volunteers and co-workers - have their own individual social links to initiatives in the wider local community; these may arise through participating in church choirs and groups, dance clubs, evening classes, befriending links etc.
